Our Core Promise
We publish honest, rigorously tested recommendations. We never alter our editorial opinions for financial gain.
Accuracy and Fact-Checking
The bedding industry is rife with marketing jargon and dubious claims. Our editorial team investigates the science behind the marketing. We verify material compositions, manufacturing origins, and environmental certifications (like OEKO-TEX or GOTS) before publishing.
Every guide and review is fact-checked by an editor prior to publication. When we discuss sleep science, we rely on peer-reviewed studies and interviews with credentialed sleep specialists—not brand press releases.
No Medical Claims
We review consumer products, not medical devices. We strictly prohibit our writers from making medical claims about bedding. We will not claim a mattress cures back pain, or that a silver-infused sheet prevents acne or bacterial infections. We evaluate products based on comfort, durability, temperature regulation, and verifiable design features.
Corrections and Updates
Products change. A sheet set we loved in 2024 might alter its manufacturing process in 2025. We continuously monitor the products we recommend. If a product's quality declines, we update our reviews and remove our recommendation.
If we make a factual error in our reporting, we correct it promptly and transparently note the correction within the article.
Sourcing Products
We buy the vast majority of the products we review at retail price. This ensures we receive the exact same product a consumer would, preventing brands from sending us "cherry-picked" or enhanced samples.
In the rare instance we accept a press sample for a new release, it is accepted with the explicit, written agreement that it does not guarantee a review, and certainly does not guarantee a positive review.
Originality
All content on TopBeddingReviewers is original. We do not aggregate other reviews or rely on AI to generate our evaluations. Our insights come from physical testing and human experience.
